Model 21 Eyelashes *UPDATE!*

Welcome to Yummi Beauty!

Nearly a year ago, I began watching makeup tutorials on YouTube and I noticed that a lot of my favorite makeup gurus used Model 21 Eyelashes.  I have always been a huge fan of false eyelashes and I would purchase brands like Ardell, Andrea, Sonia Kashuk (her full glam eyelashes are my absolute favorite), etc. for about $5-6 each at my local drugstore or supermarket.  The prices of these lashes can certainly add up; needless to say, I was very happy to discover Model 21 Eyelashes!

Each box of Model 21 Eyelashes contains 10 pairs of lashes, and depending on the style, the lashes run for about $6.95 - 8.95 per box.  These lashes are reusable as long as you take good care of them.  Some of the first models that I purchased - #16 & #17 - were a bit too long for my liking...

...but I am in love with #3M28!  Judy from itsjudytime did a tutorial on YouTube with these lashes, and I knew I had to have them.

I have recently purchased #3T after Jen from frmheadtotoe used them in one of her tutorials.  I'll post a follow-up review with pictures once I receive them!

Model 21's customer service is EXCELLENT.  After ordering #16 and #17 and discovering that they were a bit too long for me, I e-mailed them asking for a recommendation on lashes that were similar in length to #3M28.  I received a response the next business day!  Shipping is also extremely cheap and fast.

*UPDATE!*

Within the past couple of weeks, I have purchased 3 MORE BOXES of Model 21 Eyelashes - 3T, 21T, & 63!  I don't think I'll have to buy lashes for a while =]

As previously mentioned, #3T lashes were used in frmheadtotoe's YouTube tutorial.  I like that these lashes are similar to the natural shape of real eyelashes, where the lashes are shorter on the inside and longer on the outside.

I recently wore #21T lashes for my girlfriends' birthdays.  They're definitely more dramatic, but they still look natural and are very comfortable to wear.

Last, but not least, #63 lashes are my new favorite!  They're short enough to wear on a daily basis, but the criss-cross lashes definitely add some drama for a night out.  Aria from Model 21 recommended these to me, so THANK YOU, ARIA!

Thank you for reading my first blog post =] I'm looking forward to sharing my food & beauty adventures with all of you!

  1. Hello Jen,

I know this post is from a while ago but I just found it because a friend linked it to me. I just wanted to inform you that I did not purchase those lashes from this website and the style that you purchased are not the same style as the ones I used. In fact, the website selling these lashes used my video on their website without my permission which I would have given had they been the same style. Since they aren't, and I therefore don't, I can't recommend this website. Just thought you should be informed! :)

    Jen
